We are Nampa citizens who began meeting in July 2007 for the purpose of making Nampa a bicycle and
pedestrian friendly community through encouragement, education, enforcement, and engineering.  We are
advocates for the use of cycling and walking for transportation, recreation, and health and serve as a
liaison between city leadership and its residents for these issues.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and take place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in
the upstairs conference room of the Flying M Coffee Garage, 1314 2nd Street,   Nampa, Idaho.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.  If you wish to donate, please contact us.  Your support helps to
fund local events that promote cycling and walking, local trail construction, and communications to keep
citizens informed about the issues.

We commend you for wanting to be involved as an advocate for Nampa’s bicycle and pedestrian
improvements.  As with any grassroots effort, patience and  “critical mass” is important when it comes to
making changes in a community, and everyone’s effort adds up to make a difference.

  • Keep riding and walking and leave your car at home!  Set a good example with safe practices and it
will inspire others to do the same.

  • Get involved.  Attend monthly meetings and share your concerns and ideas!

  • Alert us to specific needs that exist in your neighborhood (sidewalks and trails needed near
schools, corners without handicapped ramps, potential trail and pathway locations).

  • Alert us to needs, opportunities, and contact persons for doing bicycle safety education.

  • Volunteer time to help with events which will raise the visibility of cycling and walking.

  • Donate money or materials to help with advertising, mailings, and events. We are a 501c3 nonprofit
organization.  All donations are tax deductable.

  • Sponsor events (like Nampa Bike and Walk Week!)

  • Help with grant writing and/or tips on grant resources for bicycling and pedestrian projects.
