Bike Walk Nampa invites everyone to celebrate National Bike Month and May in Motion by participating in the Annual Mayor’s Bicycle Ride.  The ride will begin and end at Lloyd Square in Downtown Nampa at 6:00 pm., Tuesday, May 22.  This will be a family friendly 1 hour ride (7 flat miles) which will show participants how the Downtown Pathway connects to the city’s larger pathway system through quiet neighborhoods.  All who attend will be eligible for door prizes from local merchants and get to hear a brief history about the Stoddard rail line and the role it played in Nampa’s early days.

Ethan Blessing will also be featured.  Ethan is 5 years old and is riding to raise money for the Nampa Bicycle Project.  The ride is free but come prepared to donate a few dollars to encourage Ethan and support this community project that provides bikes to those in need.  You can get the full story at his GoFundMe page.

To promote and educate bicycle safety Bike Walk Nampa encourages all riders to wear a helmet.  If you have questions contact LaRita Schandorff at bikewalknampa@gmail.com
